When fashion meets friendship — and a few cosmopolitans are poured along the way — you know it’s a Fashion Group International San Antonio event.

Held at the stunning La Cantera Resort & Spa, the Sex and the City-inspired celebration brought together San Antonio’s vibrant style scene for an unforgettable afternoon of fashion, creativity, and connection; even a little rain couldn’t dim the sparkle.

The event was brilliantly hosted by the fabulous Savannah Harsh and Max Musas, and produced by the FGI San Antonio Board, led by Regional Director Rosa Isela Roma. As a global nonprofit organization, FGI supports professionals in fashion, beauty, and design through education, mentorship, and industry networking — and this event was a perfect reflection of that mission.

Scene In SA was on the red carpet, with fashion correspondent Jules Aldaz conducting interviews and capturing standout style moments from the city’s most fashionable guests. From tulle trains to bold textures, the red carpet was an extravagant tribute to the show’s iconic fashion legacy. One guest, Rachel Porter, even debuted a fabulous custom-made mini skirt inspired by one of Carrie Bradshaw’s unforgettable Season 4 looks, proving just how deeply the show continues to influence personal style. Some guests fully embodied their favorite characters, while others styled looks that blended elements from all four leading ladies.

Also making a stylish splash was the fabulous Jennifer Lujan of She Talks, who conducted her own red carpet coverage with her signature warmth and magnetic energy — spotlighting fashionistas and highlighting the best of the best in SATC-inspired fashion for her growing She Talks platform.

A highlight of the afternoon was the Best Dressed SATC Style Contest, where guests turned heads with confident, character-driven looks. Featuring voluminous silhouettes and whimsical accessories, the crowd delivered everything from playful to polished.

A panel of expert judges from across the fashion, design, and beauty industries evaluated the standout ensembles of the day:

  • Devin Castleton, founder of Limatus Bespoke

  • Benjamin Medina, designer behind ALIVE

  • Cesar Ferretiz, celebrity makeup artist & hairstylist

  • Kennedy Givens, international model

  • Justin Muñoz, VP of External Affairs, Visit San Antonio

  •  Jules Aldaz, stylist, columnist, and FGI board member

Guests also explored a curated vendor experience featuring some of San Antonio’s most exciting small businesses and creative brands:

  • Two H Jewelry

  • DaVida Fashion & Aesthetics

  • FERCH

  • Snazzy Designs

  • Rosa Isela

  • Jules.Style

  • Scene in SA Magazine

  • Farmasi by Lucy Flores

  • She Talks, and more

Beyond the cosmos and couture, the event was a celebration of community, confidence, and creative expression. FGI SA continues to be a driving force for fashion-forward events with purpose — and this one reminded us all that style isn’t just what we wear, but how we empower, connect, and show up for one another.
