Lights On at the Electric Company!

On Friday, February 9th, pop-up eclectic vintage shop Electric Company opens its doors. Featuring a range of stylish, curated pieces including clothing, textiles, furniture, and fine art, at prices that can be quite approachable, visitors will have no problems finding their new favorite items.

The product of seasoned San Antonio creative collective Ayse Derman, Rose Reyes, and Jordy Hagen, Electric Company–once home to a local electrician union and training school–tantalizes with multiple rooms, each brimming with a frankly incredible array of curios. With each part of the team sourcing various tastes, every room represents an amalgamation of numerous inspirations; Aesthetic inspiration can be found readily throughout.

Lest we forget, “pop-up” does mean temporary, and as stylish as this place is, make sure to check it out while you can. Event plans for Electric Company are as varied as their offerings, including poetry readings and live music performances, so repeat visits will be most warranted while they’re here. Described effusively by Derman as a “treasure hunt”, the passion for finding unique items with their own stories is palpable. Make a visit, look around, and chances are high you’ll find a bit of treasure of your own.

Electric Company will be open starting Friday, February 9th, from noon until 5pm, Thursday through Saturday.
