Interior Design Meets Fashion 2025
When Spaces Tell Stories and Style Becomes a Voice

Copenhagen Imports took on a whole new identity on November 15, for an evening of philanthropy and fashion! A showroom usually defined by clean lines and modern furnishings was transformed into a living story — guests stepped into Copenhagen Imports expecting a fashion show; what they encountered instead was an experience. This was a merging of two worlds: Interior Design Meets Fashion (IDMF), and it exists because one woman imagined it.
Nichelle Hosley, the visionary behind the show, is an interior designer who absolutely loves fashion; so she created a way to put the two together to give back to the community.
This year’s event carried a powerful purpose.
Nonprofit organization Renew Room Remodels were the beneficiaries of this charity fashion show. The organization remodels rooms for children who have faced trauma, and are survivors of sexual violence, physical abuse, or severe neglect, giving them a safe space to heal their hearts.
Every ticket sold, every sponsor present, and every model who stepped onto the runway helped contribute to a space where a child can sleep safely and rebuild a sense of home.
As guests explored the vendor market before the show, it felt like a curated pop-up gallery of local artistry, featuring vendors such as Celeste & Beth Signature Fragrances, LLC and @jewelsbynelle. There were timeless customized scents, artisan accessories, and statement pieces for adding an intimate layer to the night — a reminder that fashion isn’t just worn; it’s a collection of elegance.
A Runway Full of Stories
Designers featured in IDMF 2025 sent more than clothes down the runway; they sent garments with intentional messages. The night featured a striking lineup:
Jaylee Cruz (11-year-old designer, assisted by sister Hailey Cruz)
Collaboration collection with Nichelle Hosley, Caitlin Love and Austin Bates

You could almost feel the garments jumping out at you with purpose and immaculate attention to detail. A stand-out moment came from 11 year-old designer Jaylee Cruz, showing at her very first fashion show. Her designs represented youthfulness with artistic intention, featuring playful hand-placed florals and soft silhouettes. Her older sister assisted Cruz in her creations, and together they created a collection that spoke to both skill and imagination. Cruz’s family was there in full support, and you could feel the love and nurturing that helps the creative mind begin at home.
And when @farrierbell_couture’s pieces appeared, the room shifted again. Alex Holliman is a self taught fashion designer whose collection was a mixture of unmistakable elegance with an edge. He was recently selected as one of Tamron Hall’s up-and-coming designers, and has appeared twice on her show. His collection was dramatic and fun, with phenomenal colors. His love for fashion was apparent in each garment, and the attention to detail was absolutely exquisite.
The moment everyone was waiting for was Hosley's first collection, and she did not disappoint. Bold, architectural, and intuitive, it felt as if each piece was having a conversation between being edgy or proportionally unexpected: signature denim pieces, metallic accents, deconstructed blazers, sculpted seams; and within each garment, Nichelle’s influences were palpable. Her collection celebrated fashion as an art that hails creative range, diversity, and the sheer joy of loving to dress. The collection is built for individuals who lead by example with boldness and confidence.
A special shout out goes to all of the hard-working models who delivered an outstanding performance on the runway. They brought every piece to life, and elevated the entire show with their professionalism, energy, precision, and intentional movements in each garment they wore.

The Vision Behind the Movement
When the final walk concluded and applause filled the room, Hosley stepped forward not just as a producer, but as a storyteller of her own designs. The room erupted in applause for the hard working designer; IDMF is her voice, her offering, her way of giving beauty back to the world, and now we can also wear the beauty of her thoughtfully designed collection.
She summed up the night in a way only she could: “Thank you for believing in Interior Design Meets Fashion. Next year will be the 10th anniversary! We’re just getting started.” ■
