Hard Rock Cafe Presents Rocky Horror Picture Show
For Friday the 13th, The Hard Rock Cafe downtown was explosive with the Transcendent Transylvanian stylings of an all drag queen cast. The refreshing take on the 1970’s cult classic Rock Horror Picture Show showed that with passion and a drive to slay, life can be breathed into the traditional shadowcast performances usually common to arthouse theaters.
Kiwanis Clays for Kids
The Alamo Kiwanis Club hosted it’s 6th Annual Clays for Kids Sporting Clay Shoot and Party fundraiser event at the San Antonio Gun Club. Attendees engaged in a friendly 5-stand competition, pairing off in teams to try and break the most clays. The club also provided and live and silent auction to raise funds for children in San Antonio. The party culminated in a dinner and drinks as the sun set on the historical San Antonio shooting arena.
Fashion For Life
Fashion for Life San Antonio hosted it’s 3rd Annual fashion show at the Tobin Center. Through the art of Fashion, they raise awareness about domestic violence and family violence and the downstream impact that it has on the lives of men, women, and children.

White Party Madness benefited Fuerza Unida’s Youth Leadership Program, honored Scene in SA’s late John Ziller, and included a style show among numerous other happenings.
Alamo Kiwanis at the Hippo Overlook
Alamo Kiwanis Club Executive Director Heather Patteson and Honorary Member Peggy Davis hosted an Alamo Kiwanis Membership Social event at the new Hippo Overlook at the San Antonio Zoo. Members had drinks and appetizers while enjoying some gambling for charity. Timothy the hippo was in attendance to celebrate with his friends.
